Italian Product Certification

The Italian Product Certification is designed for the company in the baby products supply chain willing to be Made in Italy certified.

Once passed the validation check, the organization is able to use the 100% Italian Product warranty mark.

The certification can be applied to any type of company in the food supply chain, regardless its size.

The Italian Product Certification originates from the agreement MIPAAF-PLASMON, with the aim to enhance and foster a proper nutrition among infants and children, through the adherence to the Mediterranean diet in the first 1000 day of life.

The agreement sets the Plasmon company’s commitment to increase the national food supply in five years, leading the purchase of the 100% made in Italy raw products from 16 thousand tons to 25 thousand tons, e.g. meat, fruit, vegetables, milk, fish, oil, etc.

Audit Service & Certification has drawn up a certifiable Technical Specification dedicated to infant food in order to ascertain the 100% Italian origin of the food supply chain.

• The Italian Product Certification is reliable in national and international markets;
• The Italian Product Certification is a clear message to customers.
  It ensures the product comes from a 100% Italian supply chain.
  This is not valid for the Made in Italy mark, related to all the Made in Italy goods even though produced with raw materials from abroad and international partnerships.

The disciplinary follows the guidelines of Mipaaf Protocol.
